Jamii Circle

THE CIRCLE | Who We Are

A GATHERING PLACE—Our Mission

Jamii Circle is a community-based project established in 2016 committed to mental health wellness support for women with refugee experiences.

Our intentional peer support program provides an array of non-medical evidence-based services that are complimentary to traditional clinical care.

The Wellness Program considers the health and wellness of the whole person by providing supportive, empowering relationships both formally and informally during this major life transition marked by traumatic life events. We help members navigate the mental health care systemand locating and accessing community resources. Our objective is to provide members with the courage strength and resilience as they build a new home in Canada.
